Sometimes a man’s silence is heavier than armor. When the patterns we inherited—the ones that keep us distant, guarded, or performative—begin to crack. And beneath that, something calls.
At Facing Dragons Together, we believe that call is not weakness but the beginning of transformation.
We are here to walk with men not fix them. We journey through discomfort, through shadow, and toward a new kind of strength: one rooted in presence, connection, and collective growth.
Our dragons take many forms: shame, anger, numbness, the pressure to “man up,” or never speak what hurts. But these aren’t enemies to slay—they’re invitations to grow.
Growth rarely happens in a vacuum. We are building a community of men who grow by choosing depth over dominance, brotherhood over burnout, and transformation over performance. Men who believe we are stronger together, not alone. This growth isn’t just about being “better” or living up to some standard, but about becoming happier and healthier in all aspects of life. Who doesn’t want great sex, amazing experiences, deep relationships with family and friends, career or vocational success and financial freedom?
Whether you’re just beginning your path or deep into your journey, you belong here. No bravado. No judgment. Just real conversations, shared stories, and a willingness to meet each other where we are.
Welcome to the fire. Let’s face the dragons—together.
About Greg Feightner
One of the first dragons I ever faced was the Nice Guy—the one that told me to keep the peace, don’t ask for too much, and always be agreeable… even if it hurt. I carried that dragon for years, alongside Anxiety, Loneliness, and the deep ache of not being truly seen.
For a long time, I mistook stillness for strength and silence for safety.
I wore a smile like armor and held my breath through life.
The Turning Point
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—pastor, youth minister, operations director, IT systems administrator. Each role involved guiding others through uncertainty, but there came a moment when I realized: I wasn’t facing my own dragons.
That moment came during a retreat. Around a fire, in sacred silence, I encountered deeper truths:
- Power doesn’t have to mean control.
- Kindness doesn’t require self-erasure.
- Strength can coexist with softness.
The Path Forward
Since then, I’ve been walking a path of transformation, not performance.
- I’ve learned that vulnerability isn’t weakness—it’s a sacred form of strength.
- That asking for help is a ritual of courage.
- That deep connection and emotional clarity are masculine virtues too—just ones we’ve forgotten to honor.
Why Facing Dragons Together
Facing Dragons Together was born from this journey.
Not as a platform. Not as a brand. But as a gathering place.
A sanctuary where men can show up fully—without masks, without bravado.
Where we name our dragons, not deny them.
Where we learn to stand in truth together—not alone.
I’m not here as a guru or expert.
I’m here as a fellow traveler—still learning, still showing up, and deeply committed to this shared path.
